Message: We used to tie a number of cans to a string. Then when a car stopped at the stop sign we'd sneak up and tie the string to their bumper. When they drove off the cans would clank and they'd stop to see what was wrong with their car. When they saw what it was most of them laughed and took it off. Only one person got angry.

Message: Here we are are October 1st and my memory seems to rewind to the early days of school. 5 1/2 years old being escorted to school by a group of 4th graders to #24 school. Still remember Fire prevention Month instilled in us at that early age. October, the month when the leaves were colorful and the rainy days prevailed. Raincoats and galoshes, jumping into the puddles along the way. Many years later I still remember my elementary school, which is now long gone from the scene.
