After having been closed for many years, The Rockford Tower was reopened in 2002 after renovation.
The observation deck is open on the weekends, May 1 to October 31.  (Unless specified, all photos taken September, 2006)

The center of the Observation Platform had, at one time, an interior fence around the top of the tank. The entire concrete deck is now a large opened area.
